Hartland House embraces AI technology to support care staff
Futuristic technology that can detect and even predict and prevent falls is being tested at one of Abbeyfield’s residential care homes in Cumbria. The technology also eliminates the risk of life-threatening ‘long lies’ where a person falls, typically during the night, and can remain on the floor for an extended period.

Abbeyfield Belfast Society secures funding for garden renovation
The Abbeyfield Belfast Society (ABS) has secured Wolfson Foundation funding for the garden renovation at Bell Rotary House. This sheltered housing scheme in East Belfast, tailored for older residents, will soon transform its garden into an accessible outdoor space.
