We are currently looking to recruit Care Assistants (Bank) to join our busy team at our care home in Combe Raleigh, near Honiton.

We are currently looking to recruit Care Assistants (Bank) to join our busy team at our care home in Combe Raleigh, near Honiton.

As a Care Assistant you will work towards creating an atmosphere that is warm and welcoming, ensuring all our residents enjoy life with us to the full. Promoting the physical, social, intellectual and emotional wellbeing of our residents, you will assist in the promotion of their independence. Duties will include providing assistance to residents with their personal care including washing, dressing and assisting them in all aspects of their daily lives.

Previous experience for this role is not essential as you will receive on the job support and training. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate and interact well with people, be comfortable working as part of a team and will be able to empathise with and understand the needs of older people.

Upon commencement, Care Assistants must be willing to undertake training to achieve NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent.
