Abbeyfield, Withington in Manchester , are looking to recruit Day Care Assistants full and part time who can demonstrate compassion and empathy in their approach to caring for older people, either through previous roles in social care or in other roles.

Hourly Rate: £9.00 per hour

Hours: Full Time (35) Part Time (18) 

We are looking to recruit Day Care Assistants Part Time  & Full time who can demonstrate compassion and empathy in their approach to caring for older people, either through previous roles in social care or in other roles.

We will support residents in making their own decisions about how they want to live their life. We recognise the importance of maintaining relationships with family and friends and we support residents in pursuing hobbies and interests by offering a variety of activities from in house entertainment to regular outings.

The role of a Care Assistant involves creating an atmosphere that is warm and welcoming, ensuring that every resident enjoys life with us to the full. Promoting the physical, social, intellectual and emotional well-being of our residents, you will assist in maintaining their independence. Our house manager is honest and fair in her approach to managing her team. 

A relevant NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent is preferred, however training will be provided to achieve this if you don't have it.
