Senior Care Assistant, Malmesbury, Wiltshire

We are looking to recruit permanent, fixed term and bank/relief cover Senior Care Assistants at Burnham Court who can demonstrate compassion and empathy in their approach to caring for older people, either through previous roles in social care or in other roles.

Location: Burnham Court , Hodge Lane, Malmesbury, Wiltshire , England, SN16 0BQ

Hourly Rate: £10.25 per hour 

Hours: Permanent / Fixed Term / Bank / Casual Positions Available

We are currently recruiting for a Care Assistants to join our busy team at our Flagship property in Malmesbury. Burnham Court offers Independent Living with Care Apartments each with outdoor space.

Closely supporting the Home Manager, you will actively participate and supervise in the delivery of care to the residents, ensuring that their physical, social, intellectual and emotional needs are met. Responsibilities will include overseeing all the resident care plans in line with their preferences and assisting in the safe control of medication to residents. Day Seniors/Team Leaders will also be required to assist in the induction and support of new care staff at the home. 

Extensive previous care experience in a similar role in registered care setting, together with an NVQ2 and/or working towards NVQ3 or equivalent is essential. The ideal candidate must be an excellent communicator, good organiser and have the ability to work flexibly, both using their own initiative and within a care team.
