House Keeper, Banbury, Oxfordshire

We are looking for a House Keeper to provide a clean and welcoming environment for our residents. You will be part of a team who take pride in the cleanliness of the home. You are an asset to your team and your impact reaches beyond the kitchen. There are plenty of opportunities for you to get to know our residents, enhance their meal time experience and develop your hospitality skills.

Location: 1 The Hawthorns, Banbury, Oxfordshire, England, OX16 9FA

Salary: £9.00 per hour.

Hours: 15 hours per week

To Clean communal areas: communal bathrooms and cloak room and toilet., Main kitchen, both pantries, laundry area , corridors and hallways throughout, guest room, utility room and office as required. Communal lounge and dining room, conservatory. Report to House Manager on stock levels of cleaning materials. To check, fold or iron any house laundry in, to was or dry according to daily requirements.

To assist cook in serving of main meal and clearing away afterwards. To report to House Manager and to enter into maintenance book any household faults or equipment failure. To be aware of Health and Safety including COSHH regulations and Fire procedures, and to attend staff meetings and where possible fire drills.To help create a supportive, homely and secure environment for the Residents and to regards their welfare at all times.

The Independent Living Scheme is located in a quiet residential close, just a short distance from Banbury’s bustling town. The location is easy to get to with transport and is accessible by public transport. Delicious home cooked meals and everyday housekeeping are organised by the House Manager.  

Cecelia is the House Manager is very approachable and passionate about her role.  She manages the house effectively, with a great team behind her. The team of people who you will be working with are very caring, and passionate about our residents. You will be responsible for the cleaning of all the communal areas, as assisting the Cook during lunch time.
