About Paisley Society
If you are living alone, fed up doing the shopping and cooking for yourself, would like peace of mind free from the worries of painting the house and having repairs done, but are reasonably fit and able to look after yourself – then Abbeyfield is the place for you.
Your room is yours to furnish as you like, lunch and evening meals are supplied and you have the security of your own door entry system.
We have provided accommodation for older people in Renfrewshire and beyond for over 20 years. The property is managed by a volunteer committee who have a wide range of skill which ensures that a high quality of service is delivered to tenants at all times.
At our sheltered home you receive the kind of quality and service you expect from a charity that cares and understands the needs of older people who, while choosing to have the services of the very sheltered house, wish to retain their independence.
Our highest priority is to ensure that the care and well being of our tenants are fully met. To that end we work in harmony with the medical services, Social Work Department, Care Commission and other regulatory bodies. When you require any of these services our housekeeper is on hand to assist in any way. You are important to us and you can expect the staff and volunteers to go the extra mile to ensure that you receive the necessary care.
