Abbeyfield House is a beautiful Victorian property with a modern extension providing care for older people. We have 29 rooms, 14 of which are ensuite and two of our larger rooms can serve as double rooms for a couple if required.
Two pleasant dining rooms and a large comfortable lounge give space for living and socialising, and our attractive well-tended gardens can be used for outside activity as the weather permits – or simply as somewhere to sit and enjoy the fresh air and watch the world go by. The garden has a summer house, greenhouse and various seating areas and our gardeners are always glad of a bit of extra help!
Our kind and caring staff provide 24 hour care, seven days a week, including two delicious home-cooked meals every day.
The Abbey Day Centre is a purpose designed cottage bungalow which offers supported day places for ten people every day. We have a lovely sitting room, a fully equipped bathroom for assisted bathing and a fully adapted toilet.
The kitchen provides a re-enablement facility where clients can practice the skills they need at home, and we also provide hairdressing services.
This house is managed by the Abbeyfield Kirkcaldy Society.
