Located in the town of Greenisland, Abbeyfield House is a single-storey house built in 1990 and refurbished in 2008. The house is a short walk away from local amenities such as the post office, community centre, churches and library. We have great public transport close by with links to Carrickfergus or Belfast. For lovers of the great outdoors, we are just a 15 minute walk from the coast and not too far from lovely parks and forests.
The house has ten ensuite rooms all of which are unfurnished for you to bring your own personal belongings to create your new home from home. The rooms have small kitchenettes which are ideal for preparing snacks.
Our communal lounge overlooks the green and is a great place for socialising or spending time to yourself. Staff here take great delight in baking for the residents; the Strawberry and Blueberry Pavlova is a must try!
Abbeyfield House is a friendly place to live and staff make everyone feel right at home.
We regularly hold events and activities within the house.
