Abbeyfield House is a home from home for older people looking for support and companionship but want to retain an element of independence in later life.
Our home is made up of one first floor flat with separate kitchen and bathroom; two two-bedroom flats with en-suite; and four one-bedroom studio flats with en-suite. All rooms are unfurnished allowing you to bring your personal possessions from home to make your room your own.
We are within walking distance to local shops, doctor surgery, hair dresser and bakery. And have excellent transport links to Plymouth city centre and the sea front. Plymouth is known as the ‘Ocean City’ and has a wealth of maritime history to explore and enjoy, especially during the summer.

I manage the two Abbeyfield houses within the Plymouth area. I love the variation the job brings from doing craft activities with residents to managing all aspects involved with running the houses, no two days are ever the same.
