Features
Set in the heart of the picturesque market town of Princes Risborough, Abbeyfield House prides itself on being one big family by providing high quality sheltered housing for our residents who are supported by a dedicated, caring and professional team of staff.
Built in 1920, our house was once a vicarage and many of the beautiful features from the era are still present. We have 11 cosy and comfortable unfurnished rooms to allow you to personalise it to your taste and make it feel like a home from home. All of our rooms are en-suite and have kitchenettes so that you can make your breakfast at your own pace for a gentle start to the day.
Princes Risborough is situated between Aylesbury Vale and the Chiltern Hills, with regular bus services between Aylesbury and High Wycombe. You’ll find our house located opposite the historic St Mary’s Church, and within close proximity to a number of shops, restaurants, coffee shops, Princes Risborough library and community centre.
Spend time getting to know other residents in our lovely south-facing lounge, which overlooks our pretty well maintained garden, the perfect place to while away warm days, take in the fresh air and sunshine, and catch up with friends and family. We provide two delicious home cooked meals a day, served in the communal dining room meaning you can sit, chat and eat with other residents.
