Abbeyfield House, Stow on the Wold, sits in the heart of the village in the Cotswold’s, Gloucestershire - an area of outstanding natural beauty and major tourist attraction of England. The House is located in the town centre approximately 50 yards from the main town.
Abbeyfield House was purpose built and has been extended since. All rooms are available unfurnished so you are able to bring your own furniture and belongings with you making it a home from home. We have eight rooms and one self-contained flat and most of our rooms enjoy en-suite facilities, all with patio doors overlooking the garden.
As a house we are very proud of our beautiful and secluded garden where parties are enjoyed in the summer and residents can sit outside at their leisure to enjoy the seasonal flowers in bloom. This is a valuable space where residents can chat to one another or just enjoy quiet time watching the various birds that visit the garden.
We provide a peaceful friendly atmosphere where residents can remain as independent as possible. The House Manager arranges various activities/events during the year which the residents thoroughly enjoy.
Home cooked meals are prepared daily by our dedicated staff and can be enjoyed in the communal lounge / dining room.
It's a home from home with support when you need from our professional and caring house staff and volunteers.
This property is managed by The Abbeyfield Society trading as Abbeyfield Living Society.
