Built in 1990 and set within its own grounds, Abbeyfield House in Strathaven is a warm and welcoming house which is highly thought of in the community. Our wonderful staff have forged some strong links with local schools, churches and various organisations.
The house has 10 ensuite rooms which are tastefully decorated and you can bring your own personal items and furniture for a real home from home setting. All of our accommodation is on the ground floor for easy access.
We have a cosy communal sitting room and dining room which are great to sit and read or just have a chat with someone. There is also a very pretty well maintained garden with ample seating for spending time out in the warm weather.
Abbeyfield House is set in the historic market town of Strathaven lying in the Avon Valley in rural Lanarkshire. It is a picturesque town as it is a conservation area and has many features such as Strathaven Castle and Strathaven Park which are just minutes from the house. We are within walking distance of local shops and places to eat and drink should you wish to go out for the day.
This house is managed by the Abbeyfield Strathaven & District Society.
