Welcome to our house

Abbeyfield House Duke Street, is located in Wednesfield Wolverhampton. We are a small and friendly house offering retirement living to ten residents.

The house is in a prime location on the main bus route to the city of Wolverhampton. Wednesfield Village is just a 4 minute walk away hosting all local amenities. We have a post office, news agents ,banks, hairdressers, cafes, charity shops ,library etc.... we also have a new shop opened across the road for all the bits and bobs you need.

At the bottom of the street we have a park, alternatively we boast a beautiful garden where some of our residents while away the afternoon in the summer months.

We have a green house where a resident likes to grow our plants so that we have colour all through the year and a summer house for the cooler days.

Our team at the house offer a balanced diet of fruit, veg, fish and meat and take into account any dietary requirements our residents may have.

We have CCTV installed in our house to give you and your loved ones peace of mind and added security. 

Housing benefit can be claimed where eligible.

What's happening at Abbeyfield House

Fish 'n' chips

Two or three times a year we like to go to the theatre. We also have a canal boat trip to include fish and chips. We have a trip to Western super Mare and pub lunches also once or twice.

Annual events

We put on four or five events a year to include Christmas. Recently we had a Bingo night which was funny as the caller was Denise who had never played before!!

Film and quiz nights

We occasionally have film nights/quizzes and a visiting library comes brings books to keep you occupied. Some of our residents go to Art group every week and do some beautiful art work.
