Features
Abbeyfield St Asaph is a beautiful home, which was originally built in 1567 and was the former Canonry to the diocese of St Asaph, which you can see in its unique architecture. It is a retirement home offering sheltered housing with six light and airy studios all with an en-suite and kitchenette and one self contained bedroom flat.
Located in the small city of St Asaph, Abbeyfield St Asaph has many ecclesiastical features within its architecture and the home has a very soothing and calm ambience. We have a wonderful team of caring and friendly staff who are on hand to support you whilst helping you maintain your independence.
We have a small library in the house which is available for residents to use if you fancy immersing yourself into a book or find somewhere peaceful and relaxing to sit quietly.
If you're looking to form new friendships, spend time in our communal lounge, it's the ideal place to meet other residents or catch up with friends and family.
Our residents love coming together to eat wonderful home cooked meals in the dining room, it provides a great opportunity to talk about your day and share stories. Residents are served a delicious lunch and dinner everyday.
We have a lovely garden where you can relax and enjoy the sunshine, a spot of gardening or meet up with loved ones, listening to the sounds of nature.
Our home is in an excellent location, St Asaph was awarded its city status as part of the Queen's diamond jubilee celebrations, situated on the River Elwy, and there are some great cafes and restaurants you can visit. Many people come to the area to see the stunning Cathedral to explore where the bible was translated into Welsh by William Morgan.
Abbeyfield St Asaph offers safe and independent living for older people who want to be as self-sufficient as possible but without the worry of maintaining their own home. The home is easily accessible and has been fitted with an internal passenger lift so you can travel about the house freely without any worries.
We personalise our service to meet the needs of residents so that they can enjoy freedom, security and peace of mind with support when they need it.
We have internet access which is available for residents to us to stay in contact with, and we also have laundry facilities for residents to use too.
Your safety is a top priority so we have a community alarm system that is monitored twenty four hours a day.
Abbeyfield House is managed by Abbeyfield Wales Society.
