Features
Set in the popular historical market town of Beverley, Langholm was built in 1905 and is set in a quiet cul-de-sac close to cobbled streets laced with splendid boutiques.
Beverley is renowned for its exquisite 13th century Minster, lively market and thriving music scene. Our house is close to the town centre which is perfect for taking a walk and visiting one of the many delightful tea rooms we have here. We are also close to the local bus route and a five minute drive away from the railway station should you wish to travel.
This beautiful house offers all of its original architecture and the renovation works in 1982 ensured that all of these features were retained, showing off its natural beauty. We have 14 rooms here at Langholm, three have separate living and bedroom areas and 11 are studio rooms, all of which have their own kitchenette and wet room. The rooms come unfurnished, so you can make your room feel like home by personalising it to your own taste.
We have a communal lounge which is well used and is a popular space to relax however if you prefer being outdoors you will enjoy spending time in our charming gardens. We have a beautiful large lawn and patio area surrounded by a variety of plants and tall trees creating the perfect haven.
Residents here are very independent and tend to organise their own activities and events throughout the year.
We do have some larger events that are planned during residents meetings which include High Tea, visits to the local racecourse, days out to Scarborough for lunch and visits to local garden centres for tea and cake.
A Christmas party is organised each year where everyone can celebrate together and residents can invite their family and friends to join them.
