Located in Westcliff-on-Sea, Fred Laws House was built in 1920. It overlooks the Thames Estuary and is a short walk from Southend's Cliffs Pavilion. The spacious accommodation provides rooms for 12 residents and, as with Abbeyfield Southend's other Sheltered Houses, the services of a House Manager, Careline emergency service and the support of the Administration Office are all included in the monthly charges.
We provide a peaceful, friendly atmosphere where residents can remain as independent as possible. We offer a range of activities from coffee mornings to the more energetic exercise classes. It's a home from home with support when you need it from our professional and caring house staff and volunteers.
Fred Laws House is managed by the Abbeyfield Southend Society.
