Visiting family and friends have a place to stay.
Serenus court provides a safe and secure environment for its residents in which they can continue to live as independently as possible, with assistance and support from staff and an on call warden system when required.
The attractive accommodation comprises of 11 bedsit style apartments, complete with self contained toilet, hand basin and a small kitchenette. It also boasts a large communal lounge and dining room where residents share meals and socialise. The property is up to mobility standard and there is a lift to all floors. We have a lovely secluded garden and a conservatory which is a perfect place to sit quietly.
Serenus Court is ideally situated, in that it is a mere stones throw from the busy town centre and bus station which provides public transport to most Suffolk destinations. It is set back in a secluded cul-de-sac so residents are not disturbed by the every day humdrum of passers by, frequenting the town centre. There is a train station nearby with links to Cambridge and London and a lovely riverside area with restaurants, bars and cinema within a 15 minute walk.
We are very much part of the local life with regular support from community groups and volunteers. Residents enjoy a varied social calendar of organised in house activities and outdoor day trips. Our long serving team are dedicated to providing a nurturing, homely environment for all residents. We invest in the continued development of our staff to ensure the highest standards or care and wellbeing for our residents.
You can join in with our coffee mornings, BBQ, buffet lunches and musical entertainment events during the year.
