Located in the friendly market town of Barnoldswick, full of character, with quaint streets, and nestled in the heart of the Pennine Hills with rich, rolling heather moorlands, Abbeyfield House is a sheltered house offering 12 beautifully spacious one or two bedroom apartments. Each rooms comes fully carpeted with en-suite facilities and unfurnished, allowing you bring your favourite pieces of furniture, treasured trinkets and beloved photographs, to make your room feel like home.

We're situated in a great location, in a quiet position, just minutes away from Barnoldswick town centre.

The house has a comfortable resident’s lounge, dining room and a lovely conservatory looking out on to well-maintained gardens and seating area giving our residents the opportunity to relax and socialise with each other. We serve coffee each morning in the lounge so residents can come and have a chat meaning no one needs to feel alone or isolated.

Sharing meal times is important at Abbeyfield House, it's a time for the whole house to sit down together enjoying great home cooked meals and wonderful company. Abbeyfield House provides two cooked meals a day at the ouse with plenty of choice including vegetarian options, as well as generous portion sizes.

You are also part of the wider Abbeyfield family, along with the companionship and friendship of your neighbours, we encourage you to come and visit us at other sites where you can enjoy the facilities we have to offer. Some of our larger site sites have spa facilities and hairdressers, or maybe join us for one of our coffee mornings. There are plenty of activities and events for you to enjoy, all you have to do is show up and join in the fun, but it’s always your choice to get involved, with your independence and choice always being respected.
