Situated on a bustling, affluent road between the towns of Southport and Formby, Abbeyfield Waterloo Road is located in the heart of the Birkdale Village, which offers plenty of restaurants, bars and shops for you to browse at your leisure. As well, the village is just a five minute drive from the Southport town centre.

At Waterloo Road, you can enjoy the privacy of your own comfortable room with the option to socialise with other residents in our shared lounges and dining areas when you choose.

We pride ourselves on the home from home experience that we offer, with our fantastic staff taking care of everything to provide the most friendly, welcoming and homely environment possible.

We offer delicious, daily home-cooked meals which are served in our communal dining area, making mealtimes perfect for catching up with other residents at the house over some lovely food. Housekeeping is organised for all communal areas and all of your household bills are included in the cost, leaving you free to enjoy your spare time however you wish.

Offering safety, security and peace of mind, our staff are on duty seven days a week from 9am to 3pm, with Careline taking over when staff are not available.

For the nature lovers, we have a beautiful garden which you are free to relax in or simply take in the fresh air, and the sea is just a short walk away from us.

At Waterloo Road, we organise regular activities based on our residents wishes, whether it be games afternoon or an outing to the town centre.

A variety of activities are available including film mornings, bingo and days out. These activities vary as we run in accordance with resident wishes.

We celebrate summer with a garden party and cream tea or two and enjoy the festivities of Christmas throughout December.
