Breadalbane Society

The Abbeyfield Breadalbane Society was founded in 1974 in response to a need for residential accommodation for older people living alone in the Perth and Kinross area and at risk of social isolation.

A suitable house, Eskdale, was bought close to the town centre of Aberfeldy. A subsequent extension was built thanks to a charitable donation from the Gibson Trust, providing a communal lounge/dining room and conservatory.

Situated opposite the local church, and within easy walking distance of the town centre, Eskdale offers a base from which our residents can continue to feel part of the local community.
