Abbeyfield Wells Society are based in the beautiful medieval city of Wells, which nestles on the southern side of the Mendip Hills, with the Somerset Levels stretching away to the south and west. Bath and Bristol are approximately 20 miles away.
We are proud of our beautiful gardens which the residents are able to relax and socialise in whilst enjoying the stunning views of Wells Cathedral and the City.
We have resident Housekeepers on hand to look after our residents and prepare two meals every day, together with a dining room, laundry and stair lift to the first floor. This allows our older residents to have as much independence as they want, whilst getting the support and companionship that they need.
We offer a range of comfortable ensuite rooms and flats with welcoming and homely communal rooms and areas. There are varied social activities, including coffee mornings, outings, activities and parties.

Abbeyfield House
Abbeyfield House provides comfortable and homely accommodation within Wells city centre. Residents are able to enjoy independence and friendship whilst living in a happy and secure environment.
With just nine bedrooms means it's easy to make friends and share interests. Each spacious and well lit room has en-suite facilities, and with your own furniture and your say on the decoration. Our rooms have views on to the large and private garden.
