Dulwich Society Ltd
The Dulwich Society runs a sheltered home for older people and are members of the Abbeyfield Society. The society is a registered as a charity, established in 1963 and run by support staff and local volunteers.
We run the Abbeyfield house sheltered home and we like to think of it as a home from home. Our residents receive support when needed from our professional and caring staff and volunteers.
The house has six flatlets, with bed rooms separate from the living room, and one bed-sit. All have their own en suite toilet facilities. Each has a fridge and microwave and all residents can have their individual TVs. There is a large dining room with adjoining lounge area with a communal TV set and internet access.
The elderly residents can enjoy the large mature garden at the rear, surrounding an extensive lawn. There are fruit trees and bushes and vegetables are grown for use by the kitchen.

Our home
Abbeyfield House
Abbeyfield House is an Edwardian house built in 1904 which was renovated in 1998, with many of the original features of the house preserved and mixed with contemporary features. We have six single flats and one bedsit, all with en-suite facilities and kitchenettes. All of our rooms come unfurnished allowing residents to bring their favourite pieces of furniture from home, along with photographs, ornaments and trinkets to really personalise their room.
