Alresford & District Society

At our home we are very informal and run a friendly, happy sheltered house, making it an extremely comfortable for our residents.

All staff and volunteers are local and easily contacted should the need arise. We offer 24 hour cover, and can also cater for assisted baths with the resident’s own carer.

Residents are supported by a team of professional staff who ensure the house is comfortable, clean and safe. This means they can live independently while knowing that there’s someone there in the case of an emergency. All rooms are self-contained with kitchens and bathrooms.

A range of optional social activities are offered, thanks to the involvement of a team of volunteers, and the home is run by an enthusiastic Board of Volunteer Trustees.

Bailey House, Alresford is a small development of purpose-built sheltered housing with places for nine residents.  We provides accommodation for older people who are seeking to retain their independence but live as part of a supportive community of like-minded people.

Our home has nine en-suite rooms and kitchen facilities. We also have a communal lounge, dining room, conservatory and secluded gardens which residents are welcome to use at their leisure.
