We provide a comfortable, friendly environment where older people can retain their independence while knowing that support is on hand and the day to day worries of maintaining a property are completely taken care of.
We are an independent Abbeyfield Society run by volunteers along traditional Abbeyfield lines and in accordance with the Abbeyfield ethos.
We have three sheltered houses, all unfurnished so that residents can bring their own treasured possessions, and all of our rooms, suites, bungalows and flats are fully en suite. We also have lovely communal areas and beautifully maintained extensive gardens for all to enjoy.
Residents can come and go as they please and are just asked to let the house manager know if they won't be needing a meal.

Our homes
St Mary's House
All of our rooms are en-suite, with walk-in showers, and have kitchenettes with a sink area and fridges providing you with space to make your own breakfast at your own pace, and come unfurnished allowing you to bring your own personal furniture and make your room feel like home.
Our flats and bungalows have ample space, with a separate bedroom and lounge area, and are suitable for couples who wish to live together.
Annett House
Located in the friendly and charming village of Potten End, Annett House is a purpose built home which was built in the early 1980’s, but has continually been improved over time, and now comprises of ten two room suites and spacious two bedroom flat on the first floor, all of which would suitable for couples.
Our rooms come unfurnished so you can personalise it and make it feel home. Each room has an en-suite walk-in shower and a kitchenette, allowing you to have a gentle start to the day and make breakfast at your own pace.
Sibleys Orchard
Sibleys Orchard provides a warm, friendly and peaceful atmosphere delivered by our excellent team of caring, professional and dedicated staff and volunteers. For extra peace of mind, we have a team of night sleepers who are on call overnight so residents can be assured that there is always someone available if they need anything.
