At our Abbeyfield House, a sheltered home for older people, we aim to provide a peaceful, friendly atmosphere. Residents are encouraged to remain as independent as possible and are encouraged to make the house a home.
Our home, Abbeyfield House, is a sheltered home for older people where we aim to provide a peaceful, friendly atmosphere. Residents are encouraged to remain as independent as possible and are encouraged to make the house their home.
The Brecon Society has a 15 year history and we are located very close to the centre of Brecon’s market town. Our society was set up to provide elderly people with supported living accommodation and was the first Welsh Society to achieve the Gold Star standard, as well as having a 5 star food hygiene rating.
Today we are proud of its popularity in the local community - there's currently a waiting list for rooms - and the way in which our staff offer the residents a home from home that they love.
