The society is managed by an executive committee of volunteers who are local people who know the area well. They are a mix of care professionals and others with a business background, providing a good balance to ensure that Austenmead provides appropriate services and is financially sound. They give their expertise, time and, above all, their friendship and help to all the residents and the house managers, and are always available should there be any problems.
