Darwin House is managed by the Crowborough Society and is a sheltered home for the retired that has been in operation since 1966.
It is well situated being conveniently close to the main shopping street - the ideal location for people looking for a relaxed place to live.
The sheltered accommodation the society provides offers residents supported living while allowing them to live as independently as they wish. The home and our committee regularly run fundraisers, lunches and trips out for the residents.

Located in the beautiful town of Crowborough, bordering Ashdown Forest, an area of natural beauty and the home of Winnie the Pooh, Darwin House provides assisted living in a friendly, homely atmosphere for people who want to enjoy retirement.
Converted into Darwin House in 1966, we have nine flats with Wifi and there is a very attractive garden, conservatory, patio and car park.
