Oxford Society Ltd

Everyone reaches a senior age in their life when – quite naturally – they wish to carry on having a place of their own, but would prefer not to have all the worry and pressures involved with running a house, eg preparing daily meals or maintaining a garden.

We offer the ideal lifestyle solution: the Abbeyfield Oxford Society is a small, independent charity that provides sheltered accommodation for ten older people at a lovely home, Brian Lewis House, in St Clements near the centre of Oxford.

We have a house manager, administrator and several general house assistants who assist with the day-to-day running of the home. Many other local volunteers also provide support to the residents. We do not provide nursing or personal care, so new residents must be in reasonably good health, active and able to move around by themselves.
