Abbeyfield House is located close to the heart of the local community in Westbury. The house was built in 1988 and is situated a short distance from the local town centre and public transport facilities. This attractive accommodation comprises of 12 studio flats with en-suite facilities. The house is set in its own wrap-around garden.
Residents are encouraged to remain both mentally and physically active, and enjoy a varied social calendar of organised events. We provide a peaceful, friendly atmosphere where residents can remain as independent as possible. It's a home from home with support when you need it from our caring house staff and volunteers.
Our staff are crucial to creating a homely, friendly and welcoming environment. All our staff are fully trained and skilled at catering for the needs of older people and are empathetic to the requirements residents have. Staff are there to make sure all residents are safe and secure, that meals are nutritious and enjoyable, and that the house is a thoroughly enjoyable place to be.
At Abbeyfield in Westbury, we believe in making time for older people and our staff embody this by always being available for that cup of tea and a chat - to be there as a companion when needed.
We are situated just a ten minute drive from the famous White Horse landmark, which offers glorious views of the Wiltshire countryside. With many other historic sites in the area, Abbeyfield House in Westbury is ideally situated. Enjoy living in this rural location within easy access of transport and motorway links.
I have worked at Abbeyfield for nine years, the highlight of my job is spending time talking to our residents. I like the relationship we have as a team and love to get out in the garden with our residents sharing our horticultural knowledge.
I have worked here for 16 years, I really like the flexibility of the work that I do. I like that everyday is a different adventure and I love to make a difference where I can.
I am very new here but I am looking forward to working with the staff and residents. The house has a very warm and friendly atmosphere.
