Features
Fir Lodge was built in the 1980’s and was used a school, then a clubhouse for the Northallerton Bowls Club, before becoming Abbeyfield Northallerton in 1988. The house has 12 ensuite rooms with shared kitchenettes and a two bedroom self contained flat. Located in Yorkshire, nestled between the Dales and North Yorkshire Moors, Fir Lodge is an ideal location for picturesque walks and a place to enjoy beautiful views and nature.
Our house is within five minutes of the town centre which has many quirky little shops and an excellent market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. We have great transport links with the main East Coast rail line located within a 10 minute walk of the house. Local amenities are close by with the dentist, doctor, post office, supermarket and library located just a short walk away.
Every morning we have refreshments served in the lounge which is a great opportunity for residents to get together and have a catch up with tea and biscuits.
On Wednesday afternoons we have armchair Zumba which is a great way to help keep residents active and it is a class very much enjoyed by all.
Our house is proud of its family atmosphere and makes everyone welcome.
This house is managed by Abbeyfield Northallerton CIO - Charity number: 25388R.
