Nestled away in a quiet residential area of Kings Langley, Garrad House is a purpose built house that opened in 1991. We have nine high quality studio rooms all with en-suite facilities and three one-bedroom flats. All of the rooms come unfurnished so that you can bring your favourite and familiar items with you to create your own little paradise and home from home. You will have your own front door and room key so that you can come and go, as you want and remain independent.

All of our rooms have central heating, television and telephone ports, and for extra security and peace of mind, each room has an emergency alarm call system and every resident has a personal alarm pendant.

Our house is in a great location; we are located just minutes away from the much-loved local and historic village high street, with direct access through the All Saints Church churchyard. On the high street, you’ll find a great selection of shops and cafes, pubs and restaurants. We also have excellent transport links; we’re close to the local train station, with trains to Tring, London, Birmingham, Crewe and Milton Keynes, and are just around the corner from the M25. Neighbouring towns include Hemel Hempstead, Watford, St Albans, Aspley, Garston and Leavesden, where you’ll find the popular tourist attraction Warner Bros. Studios.

Sit and relax in our light and airy conservatory where you can take in the views of our beautiful secluded garden, spend a quiet moment, or catch up with family and friends. Our residents like to walk and sit in the garden too and you can do some gardening too if you wish.
