Located in the town centre of Barrow-In-Furness and within two miles of Furness Abbey, Millennium House is a friendly home with dedicated and caring staff, who provide a happy and safe place for our residents to live.

The house has 11 en-suite bedrooms and one self contained flat, each room is carpeted and furnished with a wardrobe, a safe, a small kitchen and curtains. We invite you to bring your own belongings and furniture to personalise your space and make you feel right at home.

The house has car parking if you would like to bring your own car and we are very pleased to welcome your friends and family here at Millennium House, with the possibility to stay over should they wish.

We are fortunate to have very good transport links with the train station in walking distance and a local bus service to all parts of the town and nearby districts. The Doctors surgery, dentist, post office and banks are also easily accessible. Shopping is very convenient being right on our doorstep and there are several restaurants and coffee shops nearby for you to enjoy a hot drink and a slice of cake.

We understand the importance of keeping active and therefore have a range of activities available and a busy social calendar. We have a fun and lively Chairobics class, weekly Knit and Natter, regular music and film afternoons, seasonal card making, monthly flower arranging and a monthly communion. Staff and volunteers also arrange outings to popular restaurants if you fancy eating elsewhere and want to sample some local food.

Millennium House is managed by the Abbeyfield Barrow-in-Furness Society.
