It's a home from home with support when you need it from our professional and caring house staff and volunteers.
Darell Jeffreys House has ten single and five twin-roomed units. All rooms are ensuite and unfurnished. The on site house keeper ensures that the house is warm, comfortable and safe and that the daily meals provided are varied, nutritious and enjoyable. Staff are on duty 24 hours a day.
Our retirement property has unfurnished rooms, so you can bring your own items for a homely feel. We also have a well-maintained garden for you to enjoy.
We organise regular activities for our residents.
• Visits to local garden centres • Outings to places of interest • Pub lunches • Gen2Gen scheme, a project through which young people help residents to go on the internet by using an iPad
A delicious lunch and evening meal are cooked on the premises by our talented house keepers and served in the dining room, making this a social occasion.
We believe good food to be key to the health and well being of older people, so meals are as nutritious as possible. Provisions for breakfast are supplied so that residents can start the day whenever it suits them.
