David Gresham House provides a highly professional service for our residents, with an emphasis on reducing loneliness and isolation to enable individuals to live with dignity. We recognise that David Gresham House is our Residents’ home and that they should be able to make it ‘home from home’.
For those who wish to retain their independence whilst enjoying the shelter and companionship that the house offers, we have five independent living flats. Four are suitable for a couple and comprise a bedroom, sitting room, kitchenette and shower room/toilet. The fifth is a flat for single occupancy, which has a bedroom, sitting room, kitchenette and shower room/toilet.
The flats have a separate entrance with their own lift, communal lounge and dedicated laundry. Residents may choose to eat lunch and dinner in their own flat or in the communal dining room and are welcome to join in with the activity programme provided.
We set out to provide a happy family atmosphere in spacious and well-equipped surroundings. We aim to take into account each individual’s needs, so that they can feel relaxed, comfortable and free from unnecessary worries.
The flats are in their own attractive landscaped grounds, and are within walking distance of churches, post office, local shops, bus stop and station.
David Gresham House is managed by Abbeyfield North Downs Society.
