I decided during lockdown that the time was right for me to move to something with other people around me. I chose Westall House because I knew it well as several years ago I had been a volunteer here with my late husband. All my visitors are surprised how big the flats are and so comfortable. Our Support Workers take good care of us without being intrusive. I attend some of the entertainment in the main building and thoroughly enjoy it.

Mum has been renting one of the flats since August 2022. The flat is lovely, and mum is very comfortable there. It is extremely well-appointed, warm and bright, with maintenance staff always on hand to deal with any issues. The staff are extremely friendly, sensitive and caring, and the atmosphere in the building is always positive and upbeat. Overall we are very happy with our choice for Mum. It offers her a safe, secure and caring environment, while giving us peace of mind.

Mum was struggling to manage in her bungalow and making meals had become difficult. She also had to give up her car so she was feeling a little isolated. She settled into her lovely apartment at Westall, which is very well equipped with beautiful countryside views. She enjoys the two meals a day in the dining room and this regular contact with others has proved to be immensely beneficial. The staff are excellent. They are genuinely caring and friendly, and everyone is treated with respect. It feels like a very homely environment. I would highly recommend it.
