Leigh Society Ltd

Leigh Society manages one home, Abbeyfield House, where the residents' best interests are considered the most important aspect of the home. Our home is run by volunteers who help to shape the direction of our society and they always have the residents' best interests at heart.

About Leigh Society

Our home, Abbeyfield House, in Leigh offers secure supported sheltered housing in a family style residence with a wonderful homely atmosphere - we provide older people with a real home.

We believe that our elderly residents are an important part of their local community, where companionship and complete security is imperative. And we're committed to continuous improvement and involvement to enhance the quality of life for all the residents in our retirement home.

Our volunteers set the overall direction of the society, so they really do have your best interests at heart. And because we are a non-profit-making charity, any income we generate through our work goes into providing services for current residents and developing them to meet the needs of future residents.

Our most important strengths and core values lie with the house staff and management committee, who are made up of local people with the necessary skills to manage the supported accommodation successfully. House managers live in, and are on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
