Sidmouth Society Ltd
The Abbeyfield Sidmouth Society, founded in 1963, was one of the first Abbeyfield homes in the South West.
The Society's aim is to provide a caring home for elderly people of either gender, particularly the lonely or frail, where they can enjoy maximum independence with the support of a resident House Manager and companionship of other people of their own age.
The Sidmouth society currently run two sheltered homes that all offer sheltered living for elderly residents that still wish to be independent but do not want to have the worry of owning or running their own house.
