The society and house are highly thought of in the area, and our wonderful staff have forged strong links with local schools, churches, councillors and various organisations.
Abbeyfield House in Strathaven comprises ten en suite studios which were built in 1990. Rooms are tastefully decorated and you can bring your own small personal items and pieces of furniture for a real home from home ambience. All our accommodation is on the ground floor for easy access.
The house has a warm and welcoming communal sitting room and dining rooms - lovely to sit and read or just to have a chat with someone. There is also a pretty, well-tended garden with plenty of seating.
Our kind and caring resident management staff are on duty seven days a week. They have a real affinity for and empathy with older people. We also have a community alarm service operating throughout the house for your complete peace of mind.
