Features
Our location
Lee House is a care home situated in the idyllic Wimbledon village, where there is something for everyone. We are a five-minute walk from the quaint village centre where you’ll discover an array of chic shops, cafes and bars, as well as a selection of restaurants from around the world. When the sun is shining, there is nothing better than taking a walk across Wimbledon Common, stopping off to have a picnic.
The village becomes very vibrant during the annual Wimbledon tennis competition fortnight, where you can often spot a celebrity or two down at the local pub. Lee House has even been visited by Andy Murray’s grandparents and brother! There are often events in Wimbledon Common which include pop up stands and food stalls, with something for everyone to enjoy.
Located nearby is the UK's first Buddhist Temple where you can walk around an ornamental lake, flower garden and Orchard garden. You might also like to visit the Wimbledon Museum of Local History or learn about the history of windmills at the Wimbledon Windmill.
Our rooms
At Lee House, we have 27 en-suite bedrooms many of which have a balcony or patio doors that look out onto our beautiful garden. The en-suite wet rooms include a shower, toilet and sink and each room has a bed, bedside table, chest of drawers and an armchair.
We understand that moving to Lee House can be a big lifestyle change, and our dedicated team are always here to help support you and your family. We encourage new residents to bring in personal items such as furniture, pictures and decorations, to make the room as unique and individual as you are.
Communal spaces
We pride ourselves on being a home away from home, with a very cosy atmosphere and friendly caring staff who are available 24 hours a day. We have clean, bright decor throughout and ensure Lee House is always kept meticulously clean thanks to our very friendly domestic and maintenance staff.
Our home has two communal lounges which are perfect for relaxing or spending some time catching up with other residents. We have a kitchenette on each floor where you will find tea and coffee making facilities. There are two bathrooms in the house which are available for our residents to use if you would prefer to take a bath.
If you like to visit the hairdressers, you will love our on site hairdressing room where you can have your hair done in the comfort of your own home.
Lee House has a beautiful garden with patio areas outside the lounge and dining room, perfect for sitting outside on a sunny day. For those who enjoy gardening, everyone is welcome to get involved and do some planting or tend to our many flowers and shrubs.
