Located in the picturesque town of Carrickfergus, 10 miles away from Belfast City Centre, Wesley Court is an independent living scheme situated in a quiet, private, enclosed cul-de-sac with 28 self-contained apartments and 9 bungalows. You can also enjoy communal facilities located in the stunning Rocklands House, which dates back to the 1820’s.
While away the hours in our beautiful and accessible garden, with level paths, raised plant beds and attractive flowers - a nice spot to sit and enjoy the sunshine, have a moment of quiet, or spend time chatting with other residents over a cup of tea at our picnic tables. We also have gym equipment in our garden for residents looking to keep active and fit, and is a wonderful way to enjoy the outdoors.
Conveniently located, our scheme leads onto the main Belfast Road, which heads into Carrickfergus Town Centre. A number of local shops, cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, Marin and Carrickfergus are all within walking distance on level ground. We have great public transport links too with bus and rail networks giving the tenants an opportunity to go out, exploring the local area and beyond.
For residents looking to socialise, Rocklands House houses our communal lounge, dining room and activities room on the ground floor where a number of social events take place.
Alternatively, for green fingered residents, spend time in our greenhouse which is the centre activity hub for the gardening club. We also run a number of activities including bingo, lunch clubs, movie clubs, arts and crafts and coffee mornings.
Potential residents considering moving in with us are also welcome to come and join in with our activities and lunch clubs.
This house is managed by the Abbeyfield & Wesley Society.
