Welcome to our house

Purpose built in 1986, Abbeyfield House in Chipping Sodbury has been upgraded and updated many times since them to add ensuites, a new lounge at the back of the house as well as other features. Consisting of 10 rooms and 1 flat, a dining room for getting together at meal times, and a communal lounge, Abbeyfield House has a friendly, family atmosphere. We also have a large, stunning garden where you are able to sit and relax in peaceful surroundings.

Our kitchen staff prepare two homemade meals each day from a varied, wide ranging menu. We happily cater for all dietary needs and preferences and include fresh produce from our own garden whenever possible.

While in a quiet residential area, we are lucky to get the best of both worlds as we’re situated very close to the many fantastic shops, cafes and restaurants that sit along the beautiful Chipping Sodbury high street. We are close to a library, dentist and a supermarket and there are numerous pubs right on our doorstep. There are also two churches and a thriving town hall where you’ll always find something on to go along to if you wish. Steeped in history, Chipping Sodbury sits at the foot of the southern Cotswolds close to the beautiful cities of Bath and Bristol.

We are small, friendly house with a family feel where you can continue to live your life independently with support when you need it from our helpful team.

Abbeyfield House is managed by Abbeyfield Sodbury Vale Society.
