Features
Wey Valley House is a two-storey, residential care home located in Farnham, Surrey. Built in 1985, the home benefits from well-maintained, landscaped gardens and a patio area overlooking the River Wey; the perfect place to sit back, relax and take in the fresh air.
The house was completely refurbished in 2008 and now provides a wonderful environment for residents to both relax and enjoy socialising.
Situated on the outskirts of Farnham town centre, the house is just a bus or train ride away from the local area and London. The house sits by the side of the River Wey and has access from the garden onto the rivers towpath which leads into the many facilities within the lovely Georgian town centre.
There are 26 bedrooms, all of which are single rooms with ensuite facilities. Each room enjoys plenty of natural light and is well decorated along with carpets and free standing wardrobes. You can bring your own furniture, making your new room a home from home. For security and safety, all rooms have a call bell.
Stay in touch with loved ones with wifi in the home.
The on-site house manager ensures that the house is warm, comfortable, safe and that the daily meals provided are varied, nutritious & enjoyable. Plenty of fun and engaging activities are arranged on a regular basis.

What our residents say
“My relative has received excellent care during her two years living at Wey Valley Hose The staff are warm, friendly and caring whilst also being professional and efficient. If i have any requests or concerns, they are acted upon immediately. I am confident that my relative is safe and content. I would recommend Wey Valley House to anyone seeking residential care.”
Susan, relative of a resident
“My father has been a resident of Wey Valley House since 2016. He is extremely deaf but the care staff have been so careful to always include him in all the activities and day to day things and they take great care when he needs assistance with his personal care. If there is a medical problem someone always rings me to explain that they’ve contacted the surgery and they will keep me informed. Recently my father had a fall in his room, fortunately he didn’t hurt himself but a doctor was called and my father had a check-up and a member of staff rang me to discuss the situation. This year has been exceptional and all the staff have worked so hard to not only look after the residents but to entertain them as well. I cannot thank them enough and I am grateful to them for the care and understanding they give to my father and in turn, to me.”
Anne, Daughter of a resident
“My Mother has been a resident in Wey Valley House for three years and during her time there has become increasingly more frail. She now requires a great deal of care both during the day and during the night. The staff at her home have been excellent in their care for her, ever patient and helpful in dealing with her needs especially now in this very difficult pandemic year where many of the support activities have been curtailed. She has very high standards and the staff have always been aware of this and treated her with kindness and humour. I will always be glad that she found a place at Wey Valley where she is kept comfortable and as happy as she can be. I would unreservedly recommend Abbeyfield Wey Valley to anyone.”
