He is extremely deaf but the care staff have been so careful to always include him in all the activities and day to day things and they take great care when he needs assistance with his personal care. If there is a medical problem someone always rings me to explain that they’ve contacted the surgery and they will keep me informed. Recently my father had a fall in his room, fortunately he didn’t hurt himself but a doctor was called and my father had a check-up and a member of staff rang me to discuss the situation. This year has been exceptional and all the staff have worked so hard to not only look after the residents but to entertain them as well.
