Wey Valley Society Ltd

The Philosophy

The Abbeyfield Wey Valley Society has been providing high quality residential, nursing and sheltered care in Farnham and Haslemere for over twenty years and now runs seven homes in the area looking after over a hundred residents. The Society strives to ensure that all homes are warm and friendly with a ‘Home from Home’ feel. All residents are invited to regular meetings where they have an active role in deciding what happens within the home in which they live.

The People

The Society is managed as a charity with skilled Trustees and Volunteers drawn from the local community. There is a professional, very experienced and long-serving management team running each home. A strong emphasis is placed on training care staff to meet the medical and social needs of our residents which ensures that the highest quality service can be provided.

The Houses

The spacious bedrooms are all en-suite. There are several lounges in each home to allow for quiet seating, conversation or watching television, as well as spacious dining facilities. A beautiful and well-managed garden is a feature of all the homes. There is a programme of activities in each home and during the spring and summer regular visits to local places of interest are arranged

The Society is affiliated to The Abbeyfield National Society and holds the Gold Star Award.
